Dental Implants in London to Restore Missing Teeth

We provide permanent, natural-looking dental implants in Chelsea, London to strengthen your smile and allow you to regain your active lifestyle.

Dental implant therapy is versatile enough to be used in a range of circumstances, whether you’re replacing one tooth or many. Dental implants provide a more natural look and more functionality than traditional dental bridges or dentures.

Dental implants do not require any destruction of adjacent teeth, as with conventional bridges. A dental implant replaces both the tooth and the tooth root, allowing for smoother chewing, a more natural speech pattern and a stronger bite with superior alignment. Implants also prevent movement of the remaining teeth by closing gaps, decreasing the likelihood of jaw or bite problems in the future.

The benefits of dental implants

Your smile impacts every aspect of your life. If you’ve lost teeth to tooth decay, gum disease, or an injury, replacing them as quickly as possible can help you avoid the health complications and emotional distress associated with missing teeth.

Dr. Suraj Vatish says:

Dental implants are composed of a post made from biocompatible titanium. This post acts as a replacement root when it’s placed in the jawbone. A natural looking tooth is then attached to the post. The combination of one or more posts with a custom-made prosthesis gives you results that look and feel natural. With these amazing results, patients can enjoy a revitalised appearance and improved functionality.

Options for missing teeth

If you need replacement teeth, talk to our team. At American Smile, we offer several options to replace some, or all of your missing teeth.

  • Crowns - They are "cemented" onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by your dentist.
  • Bridges - Anchored to your adjacent teeth, these can be removable or fixed, depending on your needs.
  • Dentures (complete and partial) - An option if you’ve lost all or most of your teeth.
  • Implants and implant supported dentures. An alternative to traditional dentures.

How do dental implants work?

We can offer you several dental implant options to help permanently replace missing teeth and create a stronger, healthier smile.
  • Single Tooth Implant - If you're missing a single tooth due to decay, gum disease or injury, we can use a single implant post and a custom-made crown to help you fill the gap in your smile.
  • Multiple Tooth Implants - If you are missing more than one tooth, whether those teeth are consecutive or not, your complete and healthy smile can be restored with several dental implants. Dental implants may be used to support fixed implant rehabilitations such as bridges or hybrid prostheses, which are custom designed in a dental laboratory to fit perfectly alongside your remaining teeth.Likewise, multiple implants can be used to secure a partial denture. With dental implants, you’ll never have to worry about your denture coming loose when you smile, talk or eat - your teeth will be secure and look wonderful.
  • Implant Retained Denture - For our clients who already wear full dentures, as well as those who have recently lost all of their teeth along one or both arches, we offer implant retained dentures. Traditional dentures rest on top of the gums and are held in place by suction and the muscles of the cheeks & tongue or when necessary denture adhesive.Implant-retained dentures are secured to dental implants by connecting to implant attachments, which hold the dentures firmly on your implants.
  • All-on-4 Implants - With the all-on-4 implant concept, you can have a new smile in just one day. Our periodontist will place four implants along your arch of missing teeth.Even for our patients who have been missing all of their teeth for some time and have suffered bone loss as a result, all-on-4 can usually support a complete denture without necessitating bone graft surgery. Once the implants are in place, our prosthodontist can immediately attach your new custom-made denture, which you’ll wear day and night.
